Automotive Service Equipment Maintenance Checklist: Extend Lifespan and Reduce Downtime Risks

Automotive service equipment serves as the "core production force" in repair workshops. Regular maintenance can effectively prevent malfunctions and avoid business losses caused by equipment downtime. Please refer to this essential maintenance checklist:

Daily: Before operation, check whether the lift's locking mechanism is functioning properly. Clean up oil spills and debris around the equipment to ensure a clean and safe operating area.

Monthly: Focus on inspecting key components. For lifts, check the tension of wire ropes/chains, hydraulic oil levels, and whether there are any leaks in the pipelines. For tire changers and wheel balancers, clean the sensors and inspect the airtightness of the pneumatic system.

Annually/Every 500 Operating Hours: Conduct professional in-depth maintenance. It is recommended to contact the manufacturer or professional technicians to replace the lift's hydraulic oil and filters, fully tighten all bolts, and lubricate and calibrate all moving parts.

Cultivating a habit of preventive maintenance can significantly reduce the risk of unexpected failures, ensuring production safety and continuity, thereby maximizing the value return on equipment investment.
