Tire-Engaging Heavy-Duty Truck Lift: 5 Minutes Daily = 3 Extra Years of Service

Many operators only regret skipping maintenance after the machine breaks down. Our tire-engaging lift relies entirely on its arms to support the tire's weight. Therefore, the core of maintenance lies in preventing rust, removing debris, and ensuring proper lubrication. Spend just 5 minutes daily following these steps, and your equipment will easily last three years longer.
Pre-Shift (3 Mins): Inspect & Clean
Walk around the unit before startup. First, inspect: Check the arms for cracks or deformation. Second, clean: Scrape off any mud, rust, or stones from both the tire and the arm contact surfaces. The interface between the steel arm and the tire tolerates no debris—even a small pebble can cause uneven stress, leading to slippage and costly wheel damage during lifting. Look closely!
Post-Shift (2 Mins): Wipe & Stow
Don’t rush off after work. Use a dry cloth to wipe moisture off the arms—especially after rain or washing—to prevent rust and seizing. Retract the arms fully to their home position. Critical Warning: Never spray water directly on the control box or motor, and never operate switches with wet hands to avoid short circuits.
Money-Saving Tips:
Don’t cheap out on hydraulic oil—use reputable brands and change it every six months. If lifting slows down, check the fluid level and filter first. Cleaning the machine costs nothing; waiting until the arms seize up or you damage an expensive tire will cost you thousands in repairs and replacements. Stay proactive, stay profitable.
