What should I do if the heavy-duty truck lift is out of sync?


If a heavy-duty truck lift operates out of sync, stop the machine and unload it immediately. Never operate it with this fault. First, check the ground foundation and column alignment—loose anchor bolts or a tilted track will directly cause the lift to run crooked or get stuck. Next, inspect the mechanical synchronization: verify that the synchronizing linkage between columns, the drive/hydraulic connections, and the guide wheels or sliding blocks are not worn or jammed. Also, ensure the tire-clamp arms return and lock consistently. For the hydraulic system, the priority is bleeding air: jog the lift up and down several times with no load, then open the bleed screws at the high points of the cylinders or lines until clean oil flows out without bubbles. Clean or calibrate the synchronization valve or flow divider valve. If one column lags behind, check the corresponding cylinder for internal leakage, worn seals, or loose/faulty fittings—prioritize repairing any cylinder that drops quickly during a holding-pressure test. For electrically synchronized models, verify the sensors, controllers, and button signals at each column to prevent a single unit from malfunctioning. After adjustments, run a full no-load cycle to confirm synchronization, then test with incrementally heavier loads. For daily maintenance, keep the hydraulic oil clean, lubricate the guide rails, ensure the tire cradles are not deformed, and regularly tighten the anchor bolts and synchronization mechanisms to ensure safe and stable lifting of heavy trucks.
